Dr. Shelley Dubin, DVM
Veterinarian
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Shelley Dubin went to school at the "3 P's of PA" — the University of Pittsburgh (undergraduate), Penn State Graduate School, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Her first veterinary position was at Shrewsbury Animal Hospital, where she met Dr Eileen Mulcahy. After 3 years there, she did relief work for 3 more years then worked exclusively at Oxford Animal Hospital and again with Dr Mulcahy at Central Animal Hospital.
In 2007, Dr. Dubin joined with a veterinary technican she had worked with at Oxford Animal Hospital to open Animal Care Experts (ACE) Veterinary Hospital in Thompson, Connecticut. Dr Dubin continues to perform surgeries at Central Animal Hospital on Thursdays as her passion is surgery of any kind ("the more challenging the procedure, the better!").
On her off time, Dr Dubin enjoys hiking with her dogs, biking and skiing with her husband and also traveling.
